Today, Politico reported that First lady Michelle Obama said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid doesn’t owe her an apology over his racial comments about her husband’s electoral chances.
Anyone who understands the progressive socialist modus operandi knows this: Until a health care bill is signed into law, Harry Reid can call Michelle Obama a nappy headed crack whore and it will be OK. If the government takeover of America’s health care system becomes law, you can bet Reid will become a liability and it’ll be time for him to feel the bus’s tires up close and personal. Individuals who for any reason become a hindrance to the implementation of the Marxist agenda become expendables. Don’t believe me? Ask Bill Ayres, Jeramiah Wright, Tom Daschel, or Van Jones.
George Washington, the Father of our country, said America was a country of laws, not men. Today, poor George is spinning in his grave as he witnesses the descent of America into a country that accepts bribes, revels in corruption and engages in the worst kind of coercion and blackmail.
When given the choice, George Washington rejected outright the title of King. After serving two terms as President, he voluntarily left office, returned power to the people, and retired to Mt. Vernon.
What’s happened to America?
How did we get to a point where ordinary American citizens can’t trust decisions being made in the White House? How did we reach a moment in our nation’s history where there’re strong indications that through manipulation of the system, bribes, corruption, coercion and blackmail we face the distinct possibility of single party socialist rule in perpetuity? How did we reach a point where the silencing of criticism against political corruption is deemed acceptable?
To quote: “America, where are you now? Don’t you care about your sons and daughters? Don’t you know we need you now? We can’t fight alone against the monster.”
This has been a long time coming folks. The road back will be equally long and hard. Roll up your sleeves, buckle your chin straps and brace yourselves. We the People, the sons and daughters of America, are the only ones who can right this wrong. Right it we must. America the idea is still the best hope for mankind. That’s something worth fighting for.
